Caroline Shannon brings a range of experience in architecture, urban design, health, arts and the environment to the integrated design of architecture and urban environments to improve people’s lives.  Her professional experience includes work at Shepley Bulfinch (current), NBBJ, MASS Design Group and the Harvard Graduate School of Design.  She graduated from Amherst College cum laude with an Interdisciplinary major in Arts and Aesthetics and the Harvard Graduate School of Design’s Master in Architecture I Program with distinction, earning the AIA Henry Adams Medal for the highest academic average and the Julia Amory Appleton Fellowship for Architectures of Urban Integration in Latin America.  She lead team Campus Catalyst to the win the AECOM Urban SOS Competition in 2010 and was awarded with the Sitiê and +D’s teams the SEED Design Awards for Excellence in Public Interest Design in 2015.  Her work has been included in the Platform 3 and 4 exhibitions at the Harvard GSD and is currently included in the 2016 Rotterdam (RioLab, Main Exhibition) and Venice (Park + Institue Sitie, Brazil Pavilion) Architecture Biennales.
